La Legua, at the beginning, came up as an idea of solidarity with
a group of textile artisans.

After a while our proposal takes form of a productive company.
We contacted and worked with a big number of spinners, weavers and
seamstresses from Trelew, that knew the craft by heritage or tradition,
(mapuche or tehuelche in some cases), or through training courses,
to achieve their labour future.

We organized La Legua as a family project that manages the
production by a solid structure and a following up of the artisans work.
In La Legua work textile and graphic design professionals, and together
decide the next step to take.

In La Legua we continue the artisans production work, and also get down to the commercialization stage.
